Why businesses benefit from documentaries.

Clients, Customers and Fans feel a special connection with the businesses they frequent or proprietors they deal with when they have insight on said person or place. They are more likely to be repeat customers, make larger purchases or donate. Most companies, musicians, artists, non profits or small businesses have a hard time making that connection. The ones who are lucky enough to do so have to take many steps via social media, marketing campaigns and most importantly a lot of time. A simple and quick way to make a big impact and create a long lasting connection is with a documentary. A good three to five minute documentary that is long enough to peak curiosity but not bore the viewer is just right. Viewer retention is paramount when trying to convey a message or show people why you or that thing you love to do is interesting. The doc can be longer but they must be visually appealing and have enough variety that the viewer does not click elsewhere on youtube. Branding, products or the people in the documentary will be highly recognizable. When you think of Fudpuckers what comes to mind? Father Fud and those  T-Shirts. What brings those two things to mind? Fud TV! In every part of the restaurant there is a TV showing Father Fud talking about gators, t shirts and the food and drink they offer. By the time you leave those videos that are looped are stuck in your head. Simple, entertaining and smart marketing. If you were out and about and happen to see Father Fud you would probably recognize him straight away and not have a problem going up and saying hi. That is because you are familiar with him from Fud TV. Here are some examples of docs that I have created and what resulted for the people I made them for.

Feline Friends Of Destin’s doc shined a light on the fact that they do much more than adopt out cats at Pet Smart in Destin. They also run a TNR program and get the cats treated in cooperation with three local generous veterinary offices. The doc has already been posted on popular blogs in the area and will hopefully get them more volunteers and adoptions.

Bruha Eve’s a Filipina painter who donates half of all sales to a charity that builds shelters and schools in the Philippines had a huge increase in sales and commissions following this docs release.

The PK Jaguars behind the scenes doc peaked people’s interest in the video it was filmed during resulting in 60,000 views for it in a very short time and helped increase their female fan base as indicated in youtube analytics lol.

MRAP Training doc made for the Army Safe Driving Program to show incoming Commanders on the camps in Kuwait which resulted in a thousands of new driving students in a few months.

K’s Path Animal Shelter and Animal Rescue Doc which helped them get more donations, volunteers and most importantly adoptions.

A documentary is a simple yet very effective way to educate and enlighten the viewer while helping them feel a connection to you or the thing you love. If you are interested in a documentary, promo spot or highlight reel of your own contact TJC Films at 850-502-0751 or tjcfilms@yahoo.com

2013 Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival – Fort Walton Beach, Florida

I stopped by the 2013 Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival for a bit and was just in time to see the Captain and Crew come ashore and lay siege to the Fort Walton Beach Landing Park. This festival happens once a year and is pretty interesting. There are some sweet costumes, great eats and rocking bands to be found as well as a fantastic fireworks show. I will defo be capturing all the key events of next years festival!

Who Took My Lizard?

Who Took My Lizard is the creation of the multi talented artistic genius that is Lewis Chapman. He is a master painter, insane musician, teacher and even created the lizard costume itself! We filmed this video all over interesting spots in Kuwait. For future videos and projects with the lizard fan created content about lizards will be used so get those creative juices flowing and hit up the websites below to find out more about this amazing project and of course the always cool Lizard itself! The song was originally acoustic but he and master producer Amin Fari teamed up to make it a fun dance track for everyone to enjoy.

DJ Lock – Spinnin it from Florida to Kuwait

DJ Lock of Locktight Entertainment is one of the premiere DJ’s in Kuwait. His ever evolving playlists range from Salsa and Swing to House and Hip Hop. The styles he can spin are as diverse as the locations he gets people dancing in. From Embassies and Villas to Performance Halls and Boat parties. He does it all. He has performed internationally in the US, Europe and the Middle East. Originally from Tampa Bay, Florida he is down to earth, does it for the love and his prices are ridiculously low compared to the other people spinning their same old playlists gig after gig. PK Jaguars in Free Run London! My new vid.

The best parkour team in the Middle East, Kuwait’s PK Jaguars took a trip to London and hit all the local spots and trained with local traceurs. They had a great time and really showed the international free runners training in the UK what they can do. All footage was shot by the Jaguars themselves using various cameras from smartphones to Canon’s. I sifted through over 750 clips to find stuff that I enjoyed and edit a video I like. Hope you like it to.

Monstariam’s Pop Up Graffiti Picnic video

Monstariam and Discovery Mall teamed up and put on the Pop Up Graffiti Picnic where they erected portable walls for artists to try their hand at tagging or whatever they felt like creating. The results were eclectic and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. The guys at Monstariam are really cool, uber talented artists and entrepreneurs. Hopefully they will host more of these in the future and more graphic artists, taggers, hip hop heads and painters will create something beautiful.

New Video – Big D featuring Illusive “Youth is Running Out”.

Kuwait’s Big D teamed up with the UK’s Illusive on this one to speak about the youth of today and child labor around the world. I used warm colors to signify hope for a brighter tomorrow and an old film look to represent the timelessness of the problem that is child labor.
